Made in Germany with Zwilling's special formula of high carbon stainless steel, this Sigmaforge® knife is forged from one single piece of steel with a Friodur® blade, ice-hardened to ~57 Rockwell Hardness. It is hand sharpened and polished with a laser controlled edge angle 15° on each side. It has a classic full bolster with a 3/4 tang that is surrounded by a comfortably ergonomic molded polypropylene handle. This set includes the 8 inch carving knife and a matching carving fork. The set is dishwasher safe (although hand-washing is recommended for edge retention.)
