La Trappe Quadrupel is Bierbrouwerij De Koningshoeven's heaviest ale with a stunning amber colour. Its warm and intense flavor is rich and finely balanced. Malty sweet, slightly burnt, and pleasantly bitter with a sweet aftertaste. Quadrupel continues to ferment after bottling and offers aromas of banana, almond, vanilla and others.
La Trappe Trappist is an authentic, pure and fair Dutch ale from Berkel-Enschot. It has been brewed within the walls of the Abbey of Our Lady of Koningshoeven since 1884, where the Trappist monks live a life of prayer and work, in peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. La Trappe Trappist was awarded the exclusive ‘Authentic Trappist Product’ (ATP) label by the International Trappist Association. This label guarantees that the Trappist ale is brewed under the supervision and responsibility of the monks, within the abbey walls, and that part of the profits are donated to charity. These age-old principles are still respected to this day.
