How to Get It
Produced once a year since 2003, Transatlantique Kriek is a literal transcontinental collaboration. It begins its life in the oaken vessels of Gert Christiaens’ Oud Beersel, a 130-year-old lambic brewery in the Zenne valley of Belgium. After the lambic ages there, it’s blended with tart Polish cherries and shipped across the Atlantic to New Belgium. There, they blend in an equal portion of their golden sour ale, which is aged for up to three years in our oak foeders. In 2018, Transatlantique Kriek received the prestigious gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival.
- 375 ml. (12.7 oz.) bottle corked and caged bottle.
- A blend of Belgian lambic, sour cherries, and American golden sour ale.
- An intense cherry nose, a sour flash across the palate, and a refreshing finish.
- 6.2% ABV
- Brewed in Fort Collins, CO.
